I'm looking to put a different seat on the Savage. The problem I have is that the stock seat provides no room for changing the riding position on long trips. I was thinking of something along the lines of what is on the Triumph Bonneville or Kawasaki W650, i.e., a straight "bench" seat. Has anyone here done a conversion like that?
Also, has anyone considered moving the footpegs back? The problem with forward pegs is that your spine takes all of the road shock.
